If your LC State class has exams through Canvas that you can take at home, but that require Respondus Lockdown Browser with or without Respondus Monitor, more information about Respondus can be found on the Respondus For Students webpage.

Testing space is limited due to social distancing and is by appointment only.

All testers must provide their own face mask and wear it while in all campus buildings and while testing.

If in the past 72 hrs you have had:

a fever greater than 100 degrees
cough
shortness of breath or trouble breathing
other symptoms (eg. chills, sore throat, headache)
contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or symptoms of illness

Please do not enter any facility on campus. Call 208-792-2100 to reschedule your testing appointment.

Mission Statement

To support student retention and success by providing a professional atmosphere for proctored testing services to its applicants, student body, and the community that allows test takers to perform at their maximum ability. The LC State Testing Center adheres to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.

Appointments for testing must be made by filling out the Appointment Request form, calling, or stopping in the office. Email requests will not be accepted. Emails sent requesting a test time will be instructed to fill out the Appointment Request Form.

Monday: 7:30am to 5pm
Tuesday: 7:30am to 5pm
Wednesday: 7:30am to 5pm
Thursday: 7:30am to 5pm
Friday: 7:30am to 5pm
Saturday: CLOSED
Sunday: CLOSED

*Space for other exams is limited during Praxis/GRE/TOEFL Testing.

NO TESTS WILL BE STARTED 1 HOUR PRIOR TO CLOSING.

Testing appointments are to be made 1 business day in advance Monday through Friday and a minimum of 1 week in advance for Saturday’s when the testing center is open.
