School of Professional Studies

The School of Professional Studies includes the Office of the Dean, the Library, and the Divisions of Business, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Teacher Education. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean, the Director of the Library, and the Division Chairs work collaboratively, in partnership with faculty, to offer a wide range of high-quality professional programs to a diverse student body.

Challenge Exams are designed by LCSC faculty with expertise in the subject area to assess your prior knowledge of the learning outcomes of a particular course. If you believe you have mastered the course learning outcomes through experience, independent study, or other means, you may petition to challenge a course for credit.
