Residence Life

Apply to live on campus

Follow these steps to apply to live on campus.

After you have been granted tentative acceptance to LCSC you may apply to live in the residence halls. The steps are:

  1. Please complete the 2021-2022 Application & License Agreement online. If you would like to apply for Spring 2021 placement only (you will be attending college beginning the coming January) please use this link: Spring 2021 Application and License Agreement.  Be sure you apply for the correct year, as sometimes the current year and following fall are both active. You can print a copy of the 2020-2021 license agreement for your records.
  2. Read the 2021-2022 Residence Hall License Agreement which is attached to the Application. The License Agreement explains rules and deadlines for refunding your deposit if you cancel.
  3. A $200* deposit is required to hold your space. You can pay online at the link below, or call the Cashier at 208-792-2351 and pay over the phone.

*Your initial $200 housing deposit is paid when you first apply and remains in effect until you leave the residence halls.   If there are charges assessed to the room at the time you check out, they will be deducted from the deposit, so please pay attention to the Room Condition Form (RCF) and cleaning instructions provided to you.

Once we receive your Residence Hall Application and License Agreement and your $200 deposit, we will send a letter to confirm we have received your paperwork. We generally begin sending building, room and roommate information in late May. If after 2 weeks you do not hear from us and have sent your paperwork, please phone (208) 792-2053 or email: reslife@lcsc.edu.

While we do not have a deadline for housing applications, we do suggest that you apply for housing as soon as you decide you are attending LCSC.  As we fill the assignments for early applicants your options become limited. The earlier you apply and pay your housing deposit the more likely you are to get your top choice for housing.

The License Agreement/Hall Application is a legally binding agreement and is in effect for the for the full academic year for those applying in the fall and for the full spring semester for those applying for the spring. This agreement does not cover Winter break.
