Multicultural Awareness Week Sept. 14-18, 2020

Welcome to LC State Multicultural Awareness Week. Here is a schedule of events. All events are free and open to the public.

"SHARE OUR STORY" Project to celebrate multicultural awareness week, upload a photo or video on your social media about what cultural diversity means to you. Use Hashtag #LCMAW2020, to enter into our Prize giveaway by September 14th. Project Video

World Music Collection: Share your favorite music playlists with Ian Tippets at email or Edgar Galeano at, and tune into Warrior Radio - KLCZ daily from 3 - 4pm, at, to hear music which brings our global community together. 

Around the World Food with Sodexo. Creating a virtual cookbook to post with the possible cooking events. "Enjoy international cuisine in the SUB this week" (Menu coming soon...)

All Week: Discover Cultures in the Garden. Community Garden. (816 Seventh St.) Explore uinque places around the world as LC International Students present their countries of origin through interactive work maps in the LC Community Garden. We invite everyone to travel the world by clicking on a the map QR codes to learn a bit more about our LC multicultural community. Post your own marker and share your home story here. 

Around the World Challenge: Answer trivia questions and go on some quests to learn more about culture and win some prizes. (Challenge will run Sept 14-17th, winner announced Sept 18th)
