Peer Mentor Program

A peer mentor is a student in their sophomore-senior year who helps new freshmen and transfer students build a foundation for personal success at Lewis-Clark State College. They work closely with students enrolled in SD-107: New Student Orientation and SD-307: Transfer Orientation to help them connect with the LCSC community and achieve their educational goals.

Peer mentors also provide academic, social, and emotional support to their mentees while also introducing them to additional campus resources, policies, and procedures.

We will be accepting applications for the Fall 2021 semester in January 2021. Application review will begin February 19, 2021. To learn more about the position and the application requirements, follow the steps listed below:

1. Read the Fall 2021 Peer Mentor Position Requirements to learn more about the eligibility requirements and expectations. 
2. Read the Peer Mentor Application Overview for a breakdown of the materials and information you will likely be required to provide on the application. 
3. Once you have gathered the required materials, proceed to the application by clicking on the link below. The application cannot be saved, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to complete the form. 
4. All applicants will be contacted by the hiring committee during the first week of March.
