What is CAMP?

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at Lewis-Clark State College prepares eligible students for a continued successful college experience with a focus on the first-year. CAMP is dedicated to creating an empowering and engaging environment for students to embody leadership, responsibility, and academic success.

The College Assistance Migrant Program is a unique educational program funded by the U.S. Department of Education, which helps students from qualifying migrant/seasonal farm work backgrounds to enter and succeed in college. CAMP students receive support through tutoring, mentoring, internship and financial aid assistance, and career exploration. Although CAMP financial aid is only offered through the student’s first academic year of college, CAMP is committed to providing academic support until graduation.
