New Student move-in is Wednesday, August 14 from 9am - 3pm.  At 3pm there is a mandatory meeting for all residents and families in the Williams Conference Center, close to the Student Union Building.

There are many fun events planned from Wednesday 8/14 - Sunday 8/18 so residents can meet people, get out into our community, and make great college connections.  Some of the planned activities are required for new students, and we strongly recommend that residents attend all of the activities offered during move-in weekend.

Lewis-Clark State College’s Residence Life program is dedicated to helping students make an easy transition from high school to college by creating an academically supportive on-campus community where ideas are shared, fun is had, and lifelong friendships are formed.

About 10 percent of LCSC’s students live in campus housing and they get to know each other really well by the end of the first semester. LCSC has four co-ed residence Halls: Clark Hall, Talkington Hall, Clearwater Hall, and Parrish House.  All of the buildings are co-ed.  We also manage a privately owned residence hall, College Place. Most halls have designated rooms for students with disabilities.

  • Clark and Talkington are traditional style halls with mostly double and some triple rooms with restrooms down the hallway.  Clark is co-ed by floor.  Talkington is co-ed by wing.
  • Clearwater Hall  and College Place are a lot like living in an apartment but without a stove. Both buildings are suite-style halls with four-person suites that share a convenience kitchen, bathroom, and living room.  The halls are co-ed by suite, where the neighbors in the next suite could be male or female, however the people who live in your suite are the same gender. There is a gender inclusive suite in Clearwater Hall.
  • Parrish House is for upperclass students and the only residence hall where students are not required to have a meal plan.  There are 29 upperclass students who live in Parrish House, which features a full kitchen. Because Parrish is small, students choose the rooms they want to live in, and the whole building is co-ed.

Room rates vary depending on the Residence Hall and type of room. There is also an International Living Learning Community (ILLC) that houses 8 International students.

Residence Life offers many activities during the school year, both on and off campus. Students pay a $25 per semester Activity Fee and most of the on and off campus events are free.  Ice skating, bowling, frozen yogurt, craft nights, and Scarywood are just some of the activities Residence Life organizes through the year along with some community service projects.

Check out what we have to offer and feel free to contact us with any questions.
